Ok not really tech but a big breakthrough nonetheless. Scientist in the mayo clinic in Florida have found a way to stop a cancer cell from being cancers. For thous unaware cancer cells are normal skin, heart, lung, ect., cells that are defective and multiply with no purpose. Though now the scientist are able to “apply breaks to a speeding car” and essentially stop the cancers cell from being cancers. Though only done in a lab it shows promising results.

After a long, long hiatus we are back. We hope to provide news when ever we can and promise to be more productive. Hopeful you will stick through with us.

Disco Dogs

Errr … Kickstarter campaign from Party New York is a dog coat fitted with colour LEDs and customizable with a smartphone - the Internet of Things for dogs:

Disco Dog is the world’s first smartphone controlled LED dog vest. It displays a variety of animated patterns and custom scrolling text in thousands of colors. You can choose an animation or type in a message using our Disco Dog application on your smartphone. It’s a fun way to celebrate your dog, and also keeps her visible and safe when it’s dark out. If your dog runs too far away and the connection is lost, the vest will show an automatic “LOST DOG” message, asking bystanders to help the lost pup find her way back.

Google could launch an effort to keep trolls and bad information at bay, with a program that would rank websites according to veracity, and sort results according to those rankings. Currently, the search engine ranks pages according to popularity, which means that pages containing unsubstantiated celebrity gossip or conspiracy theories, for example, show up very high.

Climate change deniers are freaking out about this.

Fox News is also freaking out about this.
